Syrah. IGT Toscano Syrah.
Bright ruby red colour. Warm and sumptuous, it offers the characteristic aroma of black pepper and thyme and envelopes the palate with layers of ripe red currant, blueberry, and blackberry. The richness and smoothness of its tannin structure rise to a higher balance thanks to the good body and pleasing roundness given by the refinement in barriques.
13.5 – 14%
The spicy, warm and tannic nature of this wine, makes it the perfect match with braised and grilled meats, and young Pecorino cheese. Excellent with wild boar “alla cacciatora” or “in dolce e forte”, an extraordinary dish that comes straight from the Renaissance banquets and combines the preparation of wild boar already known from the Middle Ages, with chocolate. Poggio al Corso is also the ideal glass of wine to enjoy in moments of relaxation.
